Bring your partner along

Browse the wide assortment of unique shops and art galleries on picturesque streets as De Haarlemmerstraat, De negen straatjes (the nine streets), Spiegelgracht. Or visit mainstream shopping streets such as De Kalverstraat or De Haarlemmerdijk.
By doing so you cross de Dam (Dam Square) with the Royal Palace opposite of the Monument of World War II, next side to De Bijenkorf.

Gotten hungry? No problem. From Indonesian via Spanish tapas, to Japanese of real Dutch food, in Amsterdam you can find it all. Experience the growing number of new, world class restaurants, bars & hotels living alongside the old “gezellig” brown bars and cafes that have the cobbled streets for centuries.

Gotten tired of the city? The Netherlands has also beautiful beaches, by train it takes only an hour to get there. Zandvoort is the easiest to acces by train and this place has lots of restaurants to enjoy a lovely day at the beach and a good diner looking over the sea. The Dutch love the beach and lately there are some beaches created in and near Amsterdam. Strand Zuid is one of them and it is situated just behind the RAI venue. This artificial strand contains a luxurious restaurant and lounge bar, an excellent place to relax after a day at the congress.

On www.iamsterdam.com (changeable to Francais, Deutsch, Italiano, Espanol, English) you will find lots of information.
